Dear Friend of the Berks County Chapter for the Penn State Alumni Association,
The Berks County Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association invites you to take part in the Alumni & Friends Drive FORE a Cause on August 18, 2023 at Golden Oaks Golf Club. This year's efforts will be to allocate a portion of the proceeds to our University Endowed Scholarship. This endowment provides scholarship funds to students living in Berks County and furthering their education at any Penn State campus. As we strive to continue our strong connections with each other through regular activities such as Sporting event watch parties, football tailgates, bus trips and socials, we don't want to forget why we do our fundraising efforts; supporting future generations of Penn Staters.
By helping more local students attend one of the Penn State campuses we help provide not only the experience of becoming a college graduate, but we are also helping to connect these students to our extensive network of support. Many members of the board received scholarships that helped them and could not be more grateful for that opportunity. Help us make MORE dreams come true by joining us for an afternoon of Golf, networking, fun & friends!!!
Currently, our endowment’s market value is $71,824.23. The 2023-2024 contribution goal is $25,000. With your help as a sponsor, we will reach our goal all while enjoying the beautiful greens at Golden Oaks Golf Club! We need your BLUE & WHITE PRIDE to shine through and help make this a reality.
We are looking for partners to help make this event a success. We have listed multiple sponsorship opportunities on the attached flier. Your sponsorship will allow us to promote your business to the community in addition to providing the financial support to our future scholarship recipients.
